Recensement et description de points d’intérêts et d’événements à caractère « touristique » issu de DATAtourisme, la plateforme nationale ouverte des données du tourisme. https://info.datatourisme.gouv.fr/, filtrés sur les communes de la métropole + une zone de 1km autour du territoire métropolitain.

Les évènements sont dupliqués autant de fois qu'il y a de représentations. Dans le jeu de données il y a donc un enregistrement par représentation. Chaque représentation est déterminée par une date de début et une date de fin. Pour chaque représentation, le champ période regroupées permet de connaitre l'ensemble des autres représentations. L'identifiant unique des POI permet d'identifier les évènements qui ont été dupliqués.

Dans la nomenclature DATAtourisme (ontologie), chaque point d'intérêt ou évènement est classé dans des catégories.

Il existe jusqu'à 5 niveaux de catégories hiérarchisés du moins détaillé (niveau 1) au plus détaillé (niveau 5). La catégorie de niveau 0 est toujours égale à "Point d'Intérêt".

Il peut arriver qu'un point d'intérêt soit décrit par plusieurs catégories de même niveau (par exemple un même évènement pourra être un spectacle et un pièce de théatre). dans ce cas le point d'intérêt sera répété autant de fois qu'il y a de catégories. L'identifiant unique des POI permet d'identifier les points d'intérêt qui ont été dupliqués.

DATAtourisme est un dispositif national de collecte et de diffusion en open data des données touristiques institutionnelles. Porté par l’Etat, il est né d’une coopération inédite avec les réseaux des offices de tourisme, des agences départementales et des comités régionaux du tourisme de l’ensemble du territoire national.

Les données sont produites et publiées par les organismes institutionnels chargés de collecter l’information touristique locale au sein d’un Réseau ou Système d’Information Touristique (SIT). Il s’agit des Offices de Tourisme (OT), Agences et Comités Départementaux du Tourisme (ADT), et Comités Régionaux du Tourisme (CRT) mais également de tout autre producteur de données touristiques publiques œuvrant à l’échelle territoriale ou nationale.
